Demise of Thomas Marchal, late of Great Dunmow, now of Colchester, John Lyghtffote the Elder of Dunmow aforesaid, Robert Lyston of Chelmesford, John Nicoll of the same, and Stephen Medbrook of Rothyng Margarete to Robert Hamunde of Chelmesford aforesaid, Margery his wife, John Wodecok of the same, John Hamunde the Elder of Great Badone, and William Hayward of Chelmesford aforesaid of all of a certain messuage with buildings thereon erected and a garden adjoining in Chelmesford, between the messuage late of John Barbour, clerk, now of William Benett, clerk, and the cottage sometime of Robert Chever, now of Thomas Plumer, the ends abuting one on the garden sometime of John Breuer now of Richard Joseppe, the other on the highway leading from Chelmesford to Branktre; which tenement the grantors had of late of the gift of Thomas Dawe of Chelmesford and Agnes his wife. Given at Chelmesford on 19 March, 27 Henry VI.
